
This is an unused Sanborn RPPC. I have never seen this image before. I’m thinking of taking photos at the same locations the photographers of some of my favorite cards used. I’d like to see the differences over the years. I will wait until it’s warmer, though. It’s 6 above now.

Pleasant looking little berg, isn’t it? Be interesting to see how different it is now. You could have kept your weather. We don’t have a lot of snow but cold and breezy!

Karen, that’s a terrific idea to photograph some of your favorite postcard sites in real time today!
The NY Times often does the same thing with streetscapes in the city. Oftentimes, they are able to show three (or more) different “time snapshots” of the same location.
