I check your blog almost daily as it's in my bookmark tool bar. I knew you'd be back and here you are. I really am glad to have the chance to catch up with what's been happening there. Thanks for the entry. Blogging takes time, I've cut way back on my site entries too. Just remembering to take pictures becomes an issue. Take care. I'm sorry that not all things are great but you're blessed with animals and people who think it's a better world with you in it.
Glad you've posted. I stop by when I think you've updated. Sorry to hear about your recent bit of bad news, but like everything else, I'm pretty sure you're too tough to be held down for long!

Holy Pete, you should come by for coffee and we'll discuss how we can get our respective dogs to quit eating cow pies (and other unsavories)! I love reading about what you're up to but sorry to hear about the RA and other hardships. Keep well 'til we hear from you again. Don't be a stranger:)

Hi Karen,

So good to hear from you. I check your blog often and am glad to see you posted. I will be in Billings Thursday and Friday this week. If you want to get together email me at beamemup@bresnan.net

I understand if you are totally busy with all the work you do. And I don't know where you live, but I know it's somewhere over there. You inspire me to keep working. There's so much real value in what you do, it's so honest and it seems so correct. Guess I've seen too much graft and desk-sitters getting too much money for vegetating.

It's cold and rainy here and it actually snowed yesterday -- it didn't stick, but it was really creepy. Hang in there, and hope to hear afrom you.

I'm so sorry you have been diagnosed with RA. That is such dis-heartening news. My mom has had it since she was 46. She is now 77. The good news is that the prognosis is so much better now, with new treatments and drugs. Not all are great, but they have advanced so much more than before. Mom is in therapy now and doing so much better and being diagnosed early is such a key to the long term process. If you ever want to talk to her about it , I can hook you up. She has been thru alot. Good and bad.:)
Times change. Things change. People change and sometimes they make choices for you that you would never choose in a million years. And life happens and sometimes it's great and sometimes it sucks. And actions have consequences. Changes? You've had more than your share of changes. My changes have left me forever broken and beaten-I will never be the same. I'm glad that you are the same- thru it all. Maybe someday I can learn something from you, but for now, all I know is that I can never trust anything again.
What I know is true?
People lie and they cheat. and they're sorry-sorry they get caught. And that is what I know is True.

*hugs* It's been a while since we chatted. I will be in Billings this summer for a our semi-annual trip to the zoo. I will write ahead to see if you will be close enough to grab a coffee.
I check here frequently. I love your scanned pix & postcards. I enjoy your stories. I'll keep checking in.

Karen,
While we don't "chat" often, I do check in on your blog periodically. It helps keeps me grounded in the "real world". And it's probably true what they say--you can take the girl out of Montana, but you can't take Montana out of the girl.
Hang in there, my friend.
And thanks for sharing.
