I'm physically incapable of making a long story short - and I've been making short stories long for years.

The photo reminds me of one of my favorite pass times, laying down in the middle of my pasture and waiting for the calves to come check me out. If its a nice day I will lay there for fifteen minutes and wait, soon the small calves will start coming closer until they get within sniffing distance. A bunch of little black, wet noses and mouths nibbling on your jeans or boots is pretty cool.

I do get a little nervous when Momma comes around to see what has the youngster are up to.

Stay warm.
