Awesome. We saw a moose in Denali National Park this year. I could not believe how HUGE it was. And how calm. There must of been 40 people in my group, all snapping photos and exclaiming over such a cool sight, and he just stood there chewing his dinner. They are truly magnificent.
Oh my! I'm so jealous! In spite of all my moose collectibles and my moose license plates I've only seen two living moose in my life. What a special treat!

My fiance and I own property in Bridger and are planning to move to Montana in the next couple months (just in time for winter!). I have spent many hours looking at all your photos and reading your blog (you're my first blog experience!). You make me wish we were already there. Thank you for sharing! Maybe we can meet sometime.

I have not seen a moose for several years although there is a least one south of town on the river that my friend Joan encounters now and then while irrigating. We have had bull elk in the fields this summer and a mountain lion is leaving tracks on one of the places we rent. That place isn't even a mile from town. Anyway, congratulations on the moose picture.
