I'm physically incapable of making a long story short - and I've been making short stories long for years.

I accidently stumbled on your site and enjoyed reading and seeing the pictures--especially the ones with sagebrush brought back memories of my youth on the dry land family homestead east of Edgar.

Just before World War II we put a large part of Two Bear back in wheat production for the war effort. Two Bear is the ridge east of Fromberg

Loved your website and will look forward to reading it on a regular basis. Hope that you publish where your place is located in the county.

I love the scent of alfalfa flowers and I wish you could send some too. I never seem to get up in the fields when ours is in bloom.

The bull looks as if he is enjoying himself very much. Can't blame him

Hope the heat breaks soon. It is only in the nineties here and we are just whining our little hearts out about it. I can't imagine 100. Ouch!

That is a fun pic Karen. I hope you are surviving the heat. I'd love to get together for lunch or something sometime. Hope we can do that.

Hugs,
Laurie

I wish you could, too! I wish all the best for everyone's crops. And love that bull -- he's just trying to keep cool. Things have cooled down up here (near Eureka, almost Canada) for today, but the sky is so smoky from all the fires. Ack.
