So far, no famine or locust.

We did have some incredible winds yesterday afternoon, though. I watched that expensive real estate blow south, then east, then south. Anyone cutting hay yesterday will be raking it before baling.

Not too bad

I’m not sure where this branch would have ended up if it hadn’t hit the forsythia and the bottom of the deck.

Is my luck changing or what?

What weather!! NO LOCUST! Let’s all hope from now on you’re blessed with calm, warm breezes, the sound of quiet trickling water and happy healthy cows. It’s time you had a chance to sit quietly on your beautiful deck and enjoy a relaxing glass of wine. Hey…sounds good think I should join you. Linda? You up for one too?

Looking at the pictures of the hail in the paper today, I am glad we didn’t get it and glad you didn’t either. One thing about the weather in this country……….if you don’t like it, wait 15 minutes, it will change.

Jade was here today and I showed her Sugar’s picture and she swore it was Star! I forwarded it to Blake. He is busy raking hay and irrigating. Never have I met a kid who loved the farm as much as he does.

We had hail, then buckets of rain, then wind, and now I think someone is coming to part the red sea that has accumulated once again in the basement. But it’s all good, we have our health, right? :-)

Hugs, Karen, here’s to a better day tomorrow!

You going to be raking your own or the neighbors by the time it settles in your fields? Good thing the tree missed the deck and house. I fly into Montana in two days and am ecstatic to be “home” for a while!

Wow! I haven’t made it to your blog for a while, and I see I’ve missed seeing your bad luck this spring. I’m sorry to hear of it, and I hope the rest of the year treats you right!

Funny ,locust should be mentioned as I think that’s about all you’ve missed! (don’t say ..what next!)Everything has to be up from here! I think Niki has the right idea but we would have to nail you to the deck and put the wine glass (sangria?) in your hand. Hope things smooth out now.

Looks like you’re getting your share of the weather. Every time is looks like we are getting rain … it goes around us.

It really feels strange … wishing for rain during summer vacation.
