In case I was getting bored. . .
Yesterday was stormy. Thunder, lightening and lots of rain. I had to drive to Billings for a few things, including a replacement for my camera that I lost on Sunday. When I got home, the driveway was a river and the rain was coming down in sheets. I handled most of the packages, three wet and excited dogs, two telephone messages and my heated up take out supper. I still need to finish unloading the car.
This morning it was pouring buckets when I let the dogs out. I noticed that there was mud on the east side of the place. It looked like it had come in a wave. Oh, no. . . the basement was flooded - with mud - the east and the south side. What a mess. The ditch must have washed across the driveway during the night.

Silvertip Creek looked high when I went to get the mail. It wasn’t finished.
Normally, it would look like this:

Holy Moly!! That was some storm! Great pictures though. Hell…what would life be as a woman alone on the ranch without a few emergencies. I’ve had enough of handling it all on my own. I’m lookin’

I was just trying to think of a way to express to some friends (not from here) how much rain we have received in the last week. I posted a blog indicating that was hiking in the snow one evening but still; I like the last two photos in your blog. Describes the week. Cool shots!

Good grief. All this in the middle of a draught. Is there anyway to clean it except haul it all up the stairs in buckets? Check with you homeowners insurance. They should help, I hope.

We got hit with it too, Karen. We’ve had water in the basement here in Forsyth three times and I don’t think it’s over yet. I’ll be up at dad’s to visit over Father’s Day. Want a hand cleaning up?
Hugs,

Parts run to Powell yesterday. Hail damage is sad, sad. Also trees over on houses, sheds, etc. Had some of that in Worland but not much damage at our place. We did not have the heavy rain, just a shower.
