Karen, it's good to see the warming is happening over your way too .... we had 80F a couple days ago in Helena. yikes! a little too early if you ask me. I haven't been around much lately ... I'm glad you're still blogging pretty regularly. whenever I do get the etime to read your blog posts and see the pics you share of your ranch life, I'm always glad I did. Your photography has leaped up to a whole 'nother level --- I love seeing the dogs, your cattle, the vast open, and the tools you use in your everyday life. thanks for being who you are and sharing that with us.

I have to say that seeing a calf born is one of the coolest things I've seen. It's been a long time since I was on the farm, but I will never forget.

The dogwoods are just starting to bloom here in the Piedmont of North Carolina. Spring and Autumn are my favorite seasons ... just a closet romantic. Please don't tell anybody ...

What a nice picture! Your world is starting to blossom forth life. Pretty soon you'll be seeing daffodils in the yard. Hope all the girls have an easy time of it and you find time to get some sleep. I expect you're really busy right now.

Damn, you make me feel like I am starving my cows to death. That would be one fat cow on my place.

Looking good though, hope calving season treats you well. I'm just getting going here and so far so good.
