Back in the good old days, when I still had a real job, and I used to do the Great Falls run every night, there was this guy that delivered bundles of newspapers all along the highway between Great Falls and Lewistown every morning. He didn't have a flashing light, and he STILL thought it was OK to just pull out without looking. It always seemed like he'd leave Great Falls a few minutes after me, pass me, then slam on the brakes and take some little side road to drop off papers. A few minutes later, he'd do it again, and if I didn't make it past him before he finished his business, he'd dart right out in front of me every time. I tried slowing down to let him get some distance between us, but it always seemed like I'd catch back up to him at some point and we'd play our little game all the way to Eddie's Corner. At the time, I was driving a sleeper cab Freightliner pulling Rocky Mountain doubles (48' lead trailer, with a 28' pup behind it), he was driving a Geo Metro. I cannot imagine the carnage that would have befallen him had I not been able to get shut down. I really wonder if he knows how close he came to meeting his maker all those nights.

I agree with Kirk, ship out a box of poo, that'll learn him. ;)

Karen, maybe you were lucky. You missed the mail person! Well, at least he was lucky. Wind and Mud made it to Wyoming. Better than snow and ice but they say that is coming back, too. Sure was good to see you. B

My luck has been rather ragged lately as well, but I think your trailer saga trumps my camera breaking story.

Hugs,
