About that meal! I want the hamburger, I want the fries, I want the pickle and I want the coffee with more cream in it! The nutrional looking green stuff.. naw.. I ‘ll pass!
Some of the best food is found in small town Montana cafes. Places where the hamburger meat is fresh ground and never frozen.
For those of you to young to remeber, folks from way out in the country would come to town on Friday to place orders and conduct business. On Friday night they would go out for a steak dinner and a few drinks and socialize. If they liked their dinner they would not only tip the waitress but they were also known to walk back into the kitchen and tip the cook.
Those were the days and places that make a life of memories.

Now that looks like a good Montana meal. Did you cook it or were you dining out? You are making me hungry…I need to go find a snack.

Taken & eaten at Stake Your Claim, Fromberg, Montana.

Stake Your Claim is a new one on me. Is that the one on the north end of town? Or is it the one across from the Little Cowboy?
My first guess was the Stringtown.

Hey Craig - it used to be the bar, Aldo’s. New owners did a nice job of remodeling & the menu is varied. Good stuff!
