Could this be considered a Deere, John letter?
I wonder if kids today could possibly imagine agriculture before the invention of the tractor. (That’s why farms have horses — in case the tractor breaks down and you can’t find the right parts on the internet.)

You can’t have many horses or you’d be forced to grow more oats. . .
