Thinking of you all the time. There was some sort of a cancer fund walk all night here the other night and I bought a luminary in memory of the Baron. I hope that the fact that your friends care helps a little. bonnie
Look at the picture with your eyes, and you see an empty saddle. But look at it with your heart, and I’ll bet you see the Spirit of the Baron, doing his job as the Guardian Angel of El Rancho Hergenrider, and all the creatures residing there. (I do believe I heard a bell ringing somewhere, Mr. Bailey…)
I understand how the end of the month feels. My mother passed away in her sleep on the 28th of June this year. She was 86 but healthy so it wasn’t expected and seemed too soon. There will probably always be a void but you hang on to your memories.
At least you were left a horse, I ended up with mom’s hairy little Pekingese.
