Thanks Linda, Kim, Aimee Roo & Mae.

Yes SB, but Montana is my home - it was even then when I constantly moved back & forth.

Sarpy - it was a previous life.

Kirk - I too, prefer the canyons of real, but there is beauty to be found everywhere - even in the middle of Washington Square. Hugs to Sheba.

Anonymous - no, no bat.

Bonnie - well, most of those bags belonged to the photographer, my sweet friend, Gina. I'll have to find my photos of her. Let's be honest now. Yes - I did purchase seven (or was it eight?) blouses on Friday after lunching with you and your farmer. But I received change back from my twenty dollar bill. After all I was shopping at Goodwill.

Montannie, don't remind me! What about between 43 & 53? I guess we'll have to wait & see. It was good to see you today, we need to do that more often.

I don't know about you, but in choosing between concrete canyons and the ones The Boss made over the millennia, I have a definite preference for the real ones. (Even though I've yet to go to the Grand Canyon of the Colorado -- I hope to make the trip to the North Rim this year. I'd go to the South Rim, but in the famous words of that great philosopher Lawrence P. Berra -- a/k/a "Yogi" -- "Nobody goes there anymore -- it's too crowded.")

I have visited the ruins at Walnut Canyon just east of Flagstaff, AZ. And I've driven many a time through the Grand Canyon of the Gallatin. (If they ever make a movie about Highway 191 from West Yellowstone to Four Corners near Bozeman, perhaps an apt title would be A River Runs Under It. The road crosses the Gallatin 15 times in 30 miles.)

Another canyon to see here in AZ is the Salt River Canyon between Show Low and Globe on US 60 east of Phoenix.

From the Travel Center at the London Bridge sales office,
