(Microwave ovens are wonderful things, and that special plate you can by at WallyWorld to cook bacon works on steaks and burgers as well. One burner on the electric stove would only work if you turned on another burner at the same time. Repairman comes outs checks it out and says he'll need to order a couple of parts. The next week he comes out but one of the parts ordered is the wrong part. So he puts the one good part in and the stove works for a day and then goes back to being like before. Call the repairman and he comes back out the next week, this time with the right part. Wires it up and plugs it in and sparks fly everywhere. Turns out he had wired it up backwards which burned up not only the new replacement parts but some other parts as well, such as the clock is now fried. Two more weeks and two more trips the stove now has a new clock along with a lot of other new parts and is now working fine. To his credit the repairman only charged me for the first parts and service call.
