I learned that the hard way!Isn't modern tecnology great..I've revived my old iMac 3 times in the last 3 months till the new baby gets here,being addicted to flickr and all the fine folks is not good for computer disruptions or the stress level!kudos to you!I've used paper clips in places I am sure they are not intended to go on this rig! Even though I have my phone service with ATT, the line itself belongs to Qworst--whose new motto, "Spirit of Service," can accruately be summed up in the acronym, "SOS". A repair guy from the SOS guys came out the first time, and the problem seemed to be fixed, only to reappear a month later. This time, a repair guy from Covance--who handles the DSL service for ATT--came out, took a look at the phone line and said "We should never have let you sign up--you'll never get a proper signal with this line. And Qwest is never going to upgrade it." As is, the DSL is running OK now, although it does sputter out from time to time. The alternative is either to get Cable Internet from Cox Cable here in Mesa (and Cox is even worse than Qwest when it comes to service) or pay $99 a month for Satellite Internet from DirecTV.
