Solved the Mystery
Finally.
There it was, in plain sight. Well, once I moved a package of paper cups from the front of it. And a package of paper plates from the top of it. We obviously don’t use paper plates or cups much.
Guess what we’re having for breakfast?

Congratulations! It is always good to finally find something right where it was supposed to be all the time. Waffles sound good, but, breakfast has been over here for hours. I am thinking about how to turn half of a huge pork chop and a can of pinto beans into lunch. bonnie

Hopefully you haven’t purchased another waffle iron (although having another one around isn’t a bad idea–unless you manage to hide BOTH of them…). I had one of my magainzes I get weekly not show up (I supposed the folks down at the Post Office hadn’t finished reading it), so after it was a week late, I contacted the publisher online and had them send a replacement issue. The very next day, the issue in question showed up in my mailbox. This always seems to happen when I have a mag come late. (If you have a publication not show up, by the way, there’s a good chance the Unbelievably Stupid Postal Service has delivered it to the wrong address–in another state. At the clipping service I work at, we see stuff like this all the time. But we’ve yet to find a waffle iron…)

Had waffles for dinner Thursday night with a fried egg on top. This must have been a waffle week.

Hope you enjoyed your waffles and had a couple for me. No one around here likes them but me.
Have a great day.

karen welcome home to you and the Baron. waffles sound delicious .. i’m very susceptible to the power of suggestion, so guess what we are having for breakfast tomorrow? It’s good to hear you are home and that your husband is feeling better. I wish him a completely clean bill of health soon - very soon.
btw, i love your sense of humor. that’s what’s going to pull the two of you through whatever comes your way. as long as you can keep your humor about you and as long as ayou have the help of as many friends as you seem to have, you’ll be fine.
also glad to see you writing again.
