Thanks
Things that I have to be thankful for:
A wonderful husband.
A roof over my head that no longer leaks.
Plenty of food.
Very good friends.
My family.
The folks that I’ve met because of this little place.
The animals that share our lives.
Happy Thanksgiving.
May you all appreciate things to be thankful for today, and everyday.

A happy Turkey Day to y’all from both of us here in the Sonoran Desert (and from the desert of my mind).
As per my Thankgiving traditions, I will be having two ham steaks with my mashed spuds and brown-n-serve rolls. (I got so sick of seeing billions and billions of frozen turkeys–several of which caused broken toes when they went right through the paper bags–when I was a carryout boy at Buttrey’s that I vowed never to have the stuff for Thanksgiving–and since McDonald’s is not bleeping open today, I have ham instead.)
Don’t forget to give the “children” (i.e., the Rock, Ty, Lucky and–especially–the SugarBear) a plate, too.

I’m thankful for this little slice of Montana that I can get to without changing out of my night clothes.
You make me miss my Rural Roots.
Happy (belated) Thanksgiving.
