I'm physically incapable of making a long story short - and I've been making short stories long for years.

Good grief! Well it was a change of scenery but not much of a rest.

The boss finished stacking the bales here yesterday. He nearly turned into a hobo, though. When I took him back to the tractor after lunch yesterday, there was a train parked across the crossing. We waited for a while but then he decided that he would climb up and walk across on one of the cars. He just stepped down on the other side and the train took off! He could be a long way from home by now!

Grandson#1 got his deer yesterday near the river in our own field. Last day of the season there. He brought the horns to show last night. bonnie

Thanks!

Jough - I know, I'm bad. We have some cattle in the pasture next to our house - when I barbecue - I say: "I'm grilling your sister". . .
