On Saturday, the Sugar Beet Baron decided that we would take some much needed time off on Sunday.
Go for a drive, get off the place, get something to eat out. So much for planning.
We did go for a drive.

We did get off the place.

We had some diet soda and beef jerky - and it was out.

Looking at the terrain, I am guessing you were on horseback. Linn

Gasp! You ate jerky in front of the poor cattle? That’s just sick!

Thanks!
Jough - I know, I’m bad. We have some cattle in the pasture next to our house - when I barbecue - I say: “I’m grilling your sister”. . .

Good grief! Well it was a change of scenery but not much of a rest.
The boss finished stacking the bales here yesterday. He nearly turned into a hobo, though. When I took him back to the tractor after lunch yesterday, there was a train parked across the crossing. We waited for a while but then he decided that he would climb up and walk across on one of the cars. He just stepped down on the other side and the train took off! He could be a long way from home by now!
Grandson#1 got his deer yesterday near the river in our own field. Last day of the season there. He brought the horns to show last night. bonnie
