My malamute Ti stole anything edible - her idea of <I>edible</I>, not mine: frozen chicken; a pan of brownies (she got on the kitchen counter and left the pan there - with just the crispy corners still intact); muskrats from traps; road apples; can of Crisco; bags of flour; and my all time favorite - bean dip that she opened a styrofoam cooler to get to. The rest of that Jeep ride was pungent. The rice cakes were peanut butter &#38; chocolate chip ones - still like eating packing peanuts. It takes a lot to surprise me. I have 8 dogs and one of them is extremely agile and can jump a 4ft chain link fence from a stand still. That is Tug. Another is a rather large but agile dog named Rip, half lab, half mystery. I had a hamburger patty on the back eye of the stove in a little pan cooking away. When I went to get it, no burger. Either Tug jumped up on the stove or Rip reached it someway but a dog stole it while it was cooking. That one did surprise me. Dogs are amazing creatures and inventive when it comes to food and thievery. This surprises you why? He died of old age.
