YAMBB at Fort Rockvale

Yes, yet another Montana Blogger Bash is in the works.

The Time: 7 P.M., Friday, 30 September 2005 ’til ?

The Place: Fort Rockvale - at the intersection of Highways 212 and 310. There’s a casino (where in Montana isn’t there?) and bar at Fort Rockvale, too. There’s also a ferris wheel and miniature golf course. As of today - they weren’t sure if there would be live music that night - but I will keep you updated.

The Point: To meet some people that you probably wouldn’t have met otherwise. To have something to eat. To have something to drink if you’re so inclined. To toss a few quarters in the machines - if that’s something you like to do. To ride a ferris wheel. To play miniature golf. To visit.

Commenters and lurkers are not only welcome, but encouraged.

This get together is not limited to bloggers.

Ed told us a bit about Fort Rockvale on this post:

I’m not using ink yet but I do have the 30th written in heavy pencil.

Depending on how school treats me, I’ll be there.

And I may be bringing some company from the dorms (one extra person).

Os is planning a get together in Minneapolis in October too, trying to get a few of us from across the country to meet. He’s driving but there are direct flights that if you watch you can find for cheap too. Would love to have ya!

Anyone willing to come a bit more west? Like Big Timber or maybe White Sulpher Springs? Billings is further than I care to drive these days (did it every weekend for the last year) but I want to meet ya’ll. :(

    :)

Might have the corn cut by then. Guess we will see what the price of gas is! Got the fuel bill yesterday. Could trade off the boss’s pick up for what one month’s worth of fuel is. bonnie

    I’ll pencil it in.

Of course, I’ll need to figure out where Rockvale is in relation to Bozeman.

If I ever make it Montana (again — hee hee!), I will have to crash one of these :)
