Postmarked from Torrington, Wyo. 07 Aug 1943 at 6 PM, it reads:
Carroll,
Another P.C.V.A(?). card. Hope like it. Will tell about Pike in a letter if you like. Am going through Cheyenne Sunday. Will try to get capital. - Jeanette
Printed on the back is:
TOMBSTONE OF GEORGE W. PIKE
The remains of this famous character lie in Douglas Cemetery, Douglas, Wyo. The interesting inscription describes vividly the life led by one of the outlaws of the early days in the Wild West.

Monday, August 1st, 2005This RPPC was mailed to:
Mr. George W. Powell R.F.D. Genoa Wis
There are two postmarks - and neither has a legible date. One looks like Helena, Mont. The other is Wis. The scan isn’t crooked - the image on the card is.
The back reads:
Helena Mont., May 21
I left Waldheim the second day after you left and came to Helena and went right to work. There is plenty of work here. How is every thing back there?
