When will it be ready? I’m hungry. BTW, what time is dinner?

These HOT days make corn grow if you can keep it wet. Personally, I don’t want to eat any that I see in the pictures but the sweet corn in our field is close to ready. How can I tell? The varmits are pulling it down. bonnie

That corn is as high as an elephant’s eye. And it looks like it’s climbing clear up * to * the * sky!

You had me worried, I though you were growing genetically altered Cyber-Sugar Beets.
The corn looks good, I hope you get it in before the wet stuff starts flying!

Hi Karen! Your corn sure looks good!
Our garden plot is doing really well. Every day we’ve been picking cukes… several times a day. So many!!!
The weeds are driving me crazy. Come on bye and read my blog entry about it.

No, y’all (this is southern MT) do not want any of that corn. I’ll go take some photos of my sweet corn.
The field in the photos was planted over two weeks later than the rest of the corn on the place. Most of the corn was in by May 7th. Then we were rained out for 2 weeks. This corn was drilled on the 23rd of May.
