There are some perks to being the head Gofer. It is a heck of lot better to gofer to Powell or Redlodge, isn’t it? I mean instead of Billings. bonnie

Hopefully you had stopped to take these photographs. Remember, digital photography and driving don’t mix (I speak from experience–I tried taking a picture of the city limit sign of Ashton, Idaho and almost ran off the road. The reason I was taking such a picture was because the son of a good friend of mine here in AZ–a real smart kid who’s going to graduate from Southern Cal at the age of 20–has the last name of Ashton.)

Oh yes, I stop. Which is only possible when I’m driving.

I’m very happy with it. It’s so much nicer to delete the cruddy shots. Lots less $pent that way. And no waiting for developing.

But I’ll never part with my film cameras.

I can probably hide my gofer cap on Sunday. But not the shuttle driver hat.

    Where’s the rush hour traffic?

  9. weese Says:

    ooo the traffic looks killer

  10. KarbonKountyMoos Says:

I’m driving down the road as if I was in England. I watch for dust - which is usually the first sign of another vehicle. I’m so accustomed to there being no traffic, that when I do meet an oncoming vehicle - usually a double tanker - I have to wake up & swerve back to the right side of the road. And being from Montana, I have to recover enough to wave, of course.

  11. Moosekahl Says:

Your last comment killed me…I waved this week to as many people as I could and cracked a big ass smile when they waved back. And for the record, I use the sports setting on my digital camera to take pictures like that WHILE driving. Did it last summer on Going-to-the-Sun! God, I miss MT!

  12. Goodlovin' Says:

Hey, we wave here in Virginia too.. or at least I do… wait a sec.. I can’t remember the last time anyone waived back.. wtf?! nevermind.

  13. Mr. H.K. Says:

    Cheers,
