Thank You, Bonnie, for your friendship - and a wonderful grandson.
Thank You, Blake for a great puppy.

Sugar is the latest addition to the pack. Ty, Lucky and Rocky aren’t sure what to think of her yet. She’s asleep in my lap now. I need to find another spot for her and get a move on.

Is there anything cuter than a puppy (except perhaps a kitten?).

AWwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!! We’ve got 5 new kittie babies in the barn I’ve got to get out and snap pics of. There is nothing sweeter than baby critters! Well, I naturally do not include baby “copperheads” in that! LOL

It was fun to see you and the baron again. I like the name Sugar. It fits her well! Did she cry all night? Does this adoption make us in laws? Or maybe out laws? bonnie

Aww…. She’s a cutie! What breed is she? Puppies are fun, and then they grow into even more lovable dogs
. That’s where dogs have the advantage over cats… kitties are cute, but cats are prissy

What a cutie! That’s pretty much how Katie looked about 17 months ago, so I bet there’s some Border Collie in there. If so, a farm is the perfect place for what will become an inexhausible supply of energy and a constant need for entertainment.

My dear lord, that thing is so freakin’ adorable, I’m such a girl! Thanks for the addition. I’ll get you up on mine! Always love a fellow Montanan!

Yes, yes - Sugar is a Border Collie cutie. In addition to my daily mania - I am now pet referee. The old timers are feeling threatened - and are much too big (& mean) for the baby to contend with.

Let me also add my congrats on the new member of the clan at El Rancho des Sugarbeets. Hopefully, you’ve paid up your subscriptions to the Carbon County News and/or the ol’ Gazoo–you’ll need plenty of newsprint. (Robin Williams: “I put a copy of the National Enquirer in the cat litter box, and now the cat won’t go in there any more. His eyes give that look that says, ‘Why? That’s redundant.’”)
Hopefully the other three canines can get used to their sister–I’ve always said there is nothing worse in this word than a jealous dog.
Speaking of crazy conceited canines, here’s a story on mine:
Last Sunday, on the way back to AZ, I was going down US 89 south of Provo when I saw a beige cloud about a mile away. When I got to it, I discovered what it was–a herd of sheep (I’d guess around a thousand head.) Having never seen lamb on the hoof before, Sheba went nuts, barking almost constantly for over 15 minutes as they passed by.
A few of the lambs decided that it would be a good time to ask Mama for a quick drink. The ewe had a look on her face that seemed to say, “I don’t think the middle of the road is a good place for this.”
Less than two months before the Running of the Sheep in Reedpoint….

Redneck Diva, you dare to mention baby copperheads? (lol)
There is nothing cuter than puppies; those big eyes and floppy ears and large paws . . . aw!
