Time Out

One of my stained glass pieces.

How it looked from inside.

I haven’t had the time for glasswork in years.
My guitars are collecting dust (as is everything in the house).
I need to find more time.
In other words I need to:
“Step away from the computer.”

Wow! Beautiful work! I don’t have a creative bone in my body–I’m envious of those who do!

Oho! How refreshing to know of other blogging/computing fiends out there. I will never be able to figure out why I’ve been drawn so deeply into this digital stuff, but I’ve met some very nice folk who also love Montana and digital photography. And your photos, Karen, are shared with a world of people who otherwise would never have a window into your way of life. So don’t step away from the computer too far!

There is a time for everything, doing it in stages, day by day. One day I’d get out the pencil, one day do the drawing, one day add the color, another day do the embellishing - just little moments from every day. Pretty soon, the work is done…

I must have a thousand started projects around here but few completed ones BUT tomorrow an elderly aunt of the boss will have a ride to Cody for the opthamologist. Taking the oldest grandaughter along so it may even be fun! bonnie

Beautiful work. My dad did some stained glass in his day but I never got the bug. To creative for me but I sure enjoy looking at a great piece like that.

    Beautiful piece.

My “reality escape” is my camera. I have tried to get more time out amoung the breathing, uprights but the computer & the house suck me back in.

I decided to make a date with my hubby & son to go “shoot” this weekend. No cellphones, no plans just drive & enjoy.

I hope you can make some time! *hug*

Thanks all. I still need more hours in the day. I have 1/2 a dozen pieces cut, wrapped & boxed somewhere in the basement for ten years waiting for me, too. Oh well.

Sanity eludes me - your blog has eluded me. Where did it go? I visted your deviantART page but can’t comment w/o being a member. Can you drop me a line?
