Maybe there is a heaven shopping network?

The oriental lilies that I transplanted are doing well, and the orange day lilies are coming back, too. The meadow has been mowed, and it is raining again right now.

I think it is hard to kill the day lillies so I expect they will be back but they might not bloom this summer. The others may be more tender. Plant the new ones from your mom where they will have a little natural shelter and you will have good thoughts about her each spring when they come up.

This must have been the weekend for farm lawns! Grandson Blake mowed here and then raked. It looks great today. Tomorrow the dandelions will bloom again. The peonies are started but I am afraid some of the daisies droughted out. It is supposed to be hard to kill daisies, too. bonnie

Receiving lilies from your mother, very touching.

Rocky with lilies, priceless photo.

Everyone else who has dug up their lilies or has had them freeze have been very fortunate in having them return. I have to hear it from rumors . . . I never have had such luck.
