A belated note of congratulations to Le Baron de Beets de Sugar for making it through another annum (relatively) unscathed. (Of course, it helps when one has made a fine choice of female companionship.)
Hopefully, he was able to extinguish the candles on his birthday cake (presuming, of course, that he had TIME for such nonsense–a farmer’s work, as even we city slickers realize, is NEVER done) without the aid (and/or comfort) of the Belfry Volunteer Fire Department.
