Beefy Bovine Blogging from the Big Sky

These were taken a couple of weeks ago. Sorry, still no digital camera here! I took them about ten minutes after we fed, so many of the calves had full bellies and were resting.

Huh?!

The Sugar Beet Baron is out drilling grain. I’m playing catch up and attempting to straighten the place up.

Glad the Baron made it home alright with his nice clean seed. Everyone here has multiple heads of water to take care of except the boss. So far, he is doing tractor work, getting the corn ground ready. It is 65 degrees and breezy. Saw the fire engines out blaring the sirens this morning and saw the help helicopter land at the hospital in town. Makes me wonder what is going on. bonnie

I love driving across the the Montana countryside in spring and seeing the baby calves and lambs frolicking about. It really adds to the lovely scenery!
