Calfsicles! A single word that encapsulates the previous post of new calves and the cold. I love it! Linn

Hi Jenny (Linn)!
I did not get my wish… it was frigid and I found another one for the warmer on the 5AM shift. The calving shed is a full house. Went back out at 7AM to feed, we came in about 9AM for a meal. Sometimes we feed us.
We’re supposed to load out some hay soon - have a couple of semis on the way.

Reading you and Sarpy Sam both tired and worried this morning. The cold is hard on stock and people. Hope you don’t have to stack bales on semis? Yours are big ones, right? Try to sneak in a nap today. Bonnie

I’ve driven past that place a hundred times visiting my parents, and never knew how green the grounds are. It always looked dirty and brown.
