Well, congratulations to you and the mother!! A few days early, right? Sure nice weather for calving and lambing and farrowing right now. Our grandkids sheared their ewes today. They have two gilts that have baby pigs, too.
Had a trucker from Broadas who brought us steers from Miles City today telling us that they have had NO moisture this winter and that in the last three years there has been a total of 3 inches of moisture all together. Sad deal. bonnie

Film? Oh my gosh, I haven’t touched my film camera since summer! I don’t think I could stand taking a picture and not knowing RIGHT THEN how it looked, lol.
One year, before we sold off the few cows we had to buy furniture (long story), we had a rash of calves that very snowy winter. Never fails, those mommas wait till it’s blizzarding to spring into action. 3 feet of snow and we had calves all over the place.
The pics of the place are awesome, btw!
