I’m sorry, Karen. It’s difficult not to get attached to those little motherless ones. I’m sure you did all you could to save him.

It is sad. It was becoming such a fun chore. The dogs & cat would go out to let him know that I was coming. He’d be waiting for me & the milk. He’d get a bit of oats and some petting. Then the dogs fought over who got to lick the bucket…
